W-Flow or Riverjet, and what size fits your lot
Wellis builds swim spas around two different swim features, and the right one depends on how you plan to use it. W-Flow models, like the Amazon W-Flow or the Rio Grande, create a current built more for continuous lap swimming or steady resistance work. Riverjet models, such as the Amazon Riverjet or Beach Club, are built around a river-style current that suits swimming, water walking, or just sitting in moving water with loungers or seats built in.
Sizing runs in roughly four steps: 13 feet (the Elba), 15 feet (the Danube line), 18 feet (the Amazon line), and 20 feet (the Rio Grande and Beach Club). Many Wildwood lots, especially in newer subdivisions, have a defined footprint between the house, the fence line, and setback requirements, so it's worth measuring your available space before you settle on a size. A 13 or 15 foot model can work in a smaller side or back yard, while 18 and 20 foot models need more run length to make full use of the swim current.
Delivery from Bushnell to your Wildwood home
We're based in Bushnell, not Wildwood. Our showroom at 5260 US-301 is about 9 miles south of Wildwood, roughly a 15 minute drive up US-301, and that's where you'll see the swim spas in person before ordering. Swim spas are larger and heavier than hot tubs, so delivery and installation depend on the specific model, your yard access, and the equipment needed to get it into place.
Call (352) 768-7727 and we'll go over what's involved for your address, including the drainage and electrical questions a swim spa raises that a smaller hot tub wouldn't. We also offer a free consultation if you're still deciding between a swim spa and a hot tub.
Frequently Asked Questions
What's the difference between W-Flow and Riverjet swim spas?
W-Flow models produce a steady swim current built for lap swimming and resistance training. Riverjet models use a river-style current suited to swimming, water walking, or relaxing with built-in loungers or seats.
How much yard space does a Wellis swim spa need?
It depends on the model. Sizes run roughly 13, 15, 18, and 20 feet, so a smaller 13 or 15 foot swim spa can fit a tighter lot while an 18 or 20 foot model needs more open run length.
Can I use a swim spa for exercise instead of just relaxing?
Yes. Both the W-Flow and Riverjet swim features are built to support active swimming and water exercise, not just soaking, which is part of why households choose a swim spa over a standard hot tub.
