W-Flow and Riverjet, Side by Side
Lake Dora and Lake Eustis give Tavares residents plenty of water to look at, but swimming laps in a lake brings boat traffic, grass, and wildlife into the mix. A Wellis swim spa gives you a private, controlled stretch of water on your own property instead. W-Flow models push a smooth, steady current across the width of the spa, which is suited to swimming in place or steady-paced exercise. Riverjet models produce a stronger, adjustable channel of current, often paired with seats or sun beds, which works well for interval training or just resting between laps.
Both swim features come in a range of sizes, so the choice often comes down to how you plan to use it as much as how big your yard is.
Fitting a Swim Spa on a Tavares Lot
Swim spas run roughly 13, 15, 18, and 20 feet long, and lot size around Tavares varies enough that both ends of that range make sense depending on the property. A smaller yard near downtown or a condo-style lot might fit a 13 or 15 foot model more comfortably, while larger parcels further from the lakes have the room for an 18 or 20 foot swim spa with more swimming distance.
Paradise Patio Solutions isn't located in Tavares. We work out of our showroom at 5260 US-301 in Bushnell, about 38 miles east of town via SR-44 and US-441, roughly 50 minutes by car, and that's where you can see W-Flow and Riverjet models in person before deciding. Delivery and installation depend on the product and your address, so call (352) 768-7727 to confirm details. We're open Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm and Saturday by appointment, closed Sunday.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between a W-Flow and a Riverjet swim spa?
W-Flow produces a steady, even current for swimming in place. Riverjet produces a stronger, adjustable current and is often paired with seats or sun beds for resting between swims. Both are available across the Wellis swim spa lineup.
How much yard space do I need for a Wellis swim spa in Tavares?
It depends on the model. Swim spas run roughly 13, 15, 18, and 20 feet, so a smaller lot can usually fit the shorter sizes, while larger properties have room for the longer ones. Call us and we can talk through placement for your yard.
Can I use a swim spa for exercise instead of just relaxing in it?
Yes. Both W-Flow and Riverjet models are designed for swimming and exercise against a current, in addition to regular soaking once the jets are turned off.
