Swim Spas for Orlando's Screened Lanais and Newer Lots
Newer Orlando communities out toward Horizon West and Winter Garden tend to come with smaller lots and a screened lanai already built around the back of the house. A full pool often isn't in the budget or the footprint, which is where a Wellis swim spa comes in. At roughly 13 to 20 feet long, a swim spa can sit inside an existing pool cage or on a slab beside it, giving you swimming or resistance training without the size or upkeep of a traditional pool.
The right model depends on what you want out of it. W-Flow swim spas use a dual-chamber design built for continuous lap swimming, with seats or loungers on the non-swim side for the rest of the household. Riverjet swim spas create an adjustable current in a single channel, which works well for swimming in place, water resistance training, or just standing in moving water to loosen up after a workout. The Danube and Amazon models come in both W-Flow and Riverjet versions around 15 and 18 feet, while the compact 13-foot Elba and the larger 20-foot Rio Grande and Beach Club sit at opposite ends of the size range.
Planning Swim Spa Delivery From Our Bushnell Showroom
We deliver and install swim spas throughout Orlando, but we don't have a sales floor in the city itself, our showroom and warehouse are in Bushnell. Because a swim spa is larger and heavier than a hot tub, site access matters more: gate width, crane clearance, and whether the unit is going inside a screen enclosure all affect how delivery is scheduled. Call ahead of ordering so we can talk through your yard and confirm what's possible at your address, or visit the showroom to see the W-Flow and Riverjet features side by side before you decide.
Frequently Asked Questions
What size swim spa fits a typical Orlando lot?
It depends on the lot and whether the spa is going inside an existing screen enclosure. The 13-foot Elba suits tighter spaces, while 15 and 18-foot models fit most standard lanais, and the 20-foot Rio Grande or Beach Club need more room to work with.
What's the difference between W-Flow and Riverjet swim spas?
W-Flow uses two chambers for continuous lap swimming on one side and seating or loungers on the other. Riverjet creates an adjustable current in a single channel for swimming in place or resistance training.
Will a swim spa fit inside my existing pool cage in Orlando?
Often, yes, but it depends on the cage dimensions and access for delivery equipment. Call (352) 768-7727 with your measurements and we can talk through whether your enclosure will work.
