Fitting a Wellis Hot Tub Into a Lady Lake Lanai
Lady Lake homes in the Spanish Springs area and the northern stretch of The Villages often already have a screened lanai or pool cage built onto the house. That existing structure is usually the easiest place to add a hot tub, since the slab and roofline are already in place and there's no new build required. A Wellis Oslo or Milano Plug & Play model runs on standard household power and is sized for two or three people, so it tends to fit lanais where a larger built-in unit would not. If your lanai or patio has more room, the CityLife and PeakLife lines include 4-6 and 6+ person models such as the Kilimanjaro Life or Olympus Life, both built with a higher jet count for stronger hydrotherapy across more seats.
Before you commit to a model, measure the width of any lanai entry point and the roofline clearance, since that determines which sizes can physically get into place. Paradise Patio Solutions can talk through placement, access, and electrical needs for your specific property once you call or request a quote.
Picking Between Plug & Play and a Full-Size PeakLife Model
A Plug & Play hot tub like the Oslo or Milano is built for homeowners who want a simple install without rewiring the house, which makes it a common choice for a smaller lanai or secondary patio space. Homeowners who entertain regularly, or who want more seats and jets for a full household, usually look at the PeakLife series, including the Everest Life and Kilimanjaro Life, both built with higher seat counts for groups.
Paradise Patio Solutions is an authorized Wellis dealer serving Lady Lake from our showroom at 5260 US-301 in Bushnell; we don't have a separate location in Lady Lake itself. Visiting the showroom lets you sit in different models side by side and book a test soak by appointment before deciding. If a drive isn't convenient, call (352) 768-7727 and we'll walk through sizing and delivery options for your address.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does a Plug & Play hot tub need special electrical work for my Lady Lake home?
No special wiring is typically required. Plug & Play models like the Oslo and Milano run on a standard household outlet, which is part of why they work well for a lanai retrofit. Larger PeakLife models usually need a dedicated circuit, so call (352) 768-7727 to confirm what your chosen model needs.
Can a hot tub fit inside an existing screened lanai or pool cage?
Often yes, especially with a 2-3 person Plug & Play model, but entry width, roofline height, and structural support all need to check out first. Our team can go over the measurements for your lanai before you order.
How do I schedule a test soak before buying?
Call (352) 768-7727 or mention it on the free quote form above, and we'll set up a time at our Bushnell showroom to sit in the models you're considering.
